On November 6–7, Pekiin hosts a family olive-harvest festival. Hourly tours visit the village lanes, heritage houses, visitor centres and an old olive press; the spring square hosts music, dabke, street performances and art activities. The programme also lists harvesting and pickling workshops, soap making, local cooking, crafts and a market of regional products.
